Lester Hillman was at the opening in December of this excellent exhibition at the RAF museum in Hendon. Here he describes the links with the Intelligence Corps and extolls the merits of a visit!
FICM Life member Lester Hillman provides an excellent and informative review of the study day held on 11th October 2014 at the Chicksands Priory.
Enjoy this stream of consciousness reeled off recently by Paul Croxson.
Paul I know, would welcome any comments on the Forum!
This substantial historical article by Paul Croxson makes very timely reading as we mark the centenary of the outbreak of WWI. It runs to 18 pages of download including references and provides a very thorough historical document which will also complement the themes of our forthcoming "London Lunch with Lectures" scheduled for 10th April.
This fascinating story is told by Tony Cash (Russian linguist) and has its roots in the early 1950s when Tony was up at Oxford with John Bayliss. The article was first published in the newsletter of St Edmund Hall "The Aularian" and we are grateful to Tony for allowing us to reproduce it here.
